About Power Up!
Monster Match is a popular sport played by many teenagers which is simple to learn, but difficult to win. Opponents transform into the monster on their cards and fight until there is only one standing. Chikara Shindou, an ordinary sophomore at Gabana High, is part of this unordinary world where people compete daily to be the best Monster Match player. With his best friends Mikey and Fillena behind him, he discovers the true meaning for battling, and learns what it means to follow his heart to reach the ultimate win.
This short story shounen manga was originally created in 2000, and then redone for a class project and completed in May 2007.
The comic has been displayed in enchantma's college a few times; twice in the art showcase, and once in the art gallery.
